More then seventy years ago mankind started what became the bloodiest and most merciless war ever. It was a war that claimed millions of victims, a war that changed political, economical and social systems forever. It became a scar on the human race that did not heal for decades to come.
The war started on September 1st 1939 in Poland, the first country that stood up to Nazi Germany. Poland was then also attacked by the Bolsheviks and defended herself for 37 days, the longest resistance in Europe. The Poles, who never surrendered and never collaborated with their occupants, paid the ultimate price: their beloved country ceased to exist on the political map. However, her sons and daughters continued the fight on all European battlefronts as well as in Africa, being the only allied nation who fought for its right to exist for an entire 6 years.
Our historical reenactment is dedicated to all Polish soldiers, especially those who in the first months of this world conflict, abandoned and betrayed by their English and French allies, desperately fought for honor and for Poland.
